Job Description
Carpentry Duties:
Assemble and build crates, pallets and/or other special packaging
Ensure crate is clean and in good condition
Ensure finished product adheres to quality standards
Maintain clean working area and surrounding areas as assigned
Assist other carpenters or packers with packing duties
Maintain and care for company equipment and property
Warehouse Duties:
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins, according to organizational standards
Open bales, crates and other containers
Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also need to assist in the counting of physical inventory.
Requirements:
Wear the proper safety equipment.
