Job Description
A Solar Installer, or PV Installer, is responsible for planning and installing photovoltaic systems that deliver solar power to homes.Their duties include configuring the solar panels for the specific situation, preparing and assembling the parts for the solar panels and installing and testing the equipment at the installation location.Planning the layout of solar panels based on the specific job site and customer needs
Preparing all components of the photovoltaic system, including the brackets and panels
Attaching the system to the designated structure, often the building’s roof
Connecting the equipment to the building’s electrical system
Testing the system
Documenting details of the installation
Following regulations and safety protocols
Maintaining solar equipment after it’s installed
Requirements:
1 year of solar panel install experience in residential homes . pass a background and drug screen. clean driving record
