Job Description

 Ability to perform all the duties of a Machinist II.

 Experienced with machining specialty plastics and performing close tolerance

work.

 Experienced with non-standard set-ups.

 Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point

threading and operating a manual mill.

 Must be proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade

selection, etc.

 Perform quality control measures and inspections on machined parts.

 Create, review, and implement all red lines for department

 Ability to train others effectively

 Proficient at SolidWorks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.

 Proficient at Mastercam software.

 All other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)  2-year Technical Degree preferred.  Manual Machining: 5 years preferred.  Have own machinist tools.  Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction.  Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.
