Job Description
Ability to perform all the duties of a Machinist II.
Experienced with machining specialty plastics and performing close tolerance
work.
Experienced with non-standard set-ups.
Proficient at operating a manual lathe including but not limited to single point
threading and operating a manual mill.
Must be proficient at the fundamentals of cutting - speeds and feeds, blade
selection, etc.
Perform quality control measures and inspections on machined parts.
Create, review, and implement all red lines for department
Ability to train others effectively
Proficient at SolidWorks software with the ability to manipulate 3D solid part files.
Proficient at Mastercam software.
All other tasks assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education) 2-year Technical Degree preferred. Manual Machining: 5 years preferred. Have own machinist tools. Ability to follow verbal and written work instruction. Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.
