Job Description

Operating hand tools, power tools and potentially heavy machinery (forklifts), under supervision.

Following instructions from supervisors to perform tasks like digging, stacking goods, or setting up temporary structures (scaffolding).

Implementing and adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.

Performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on tools, equipment, and work areas.

Requirements:

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing and lifting heavy loads (typically up to 40-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination. Commitment to safety rules and practices. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliability and punctuality. Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and work environments. Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail. While not always strictly required, a high school diploma or GED is often preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is considered a plus. Experience with forklifts may also be a plus.
