Job Description

We are seeking a skilled helper with a background in roofing to join our team for an outdoor project in Austin, Texas. This is a temporary, two-month position with an hourly rate of $16.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in constructing Aluminum Patio Covers and Screen Rooms

Measure and cut Roll Form and Extruded Material with a Chop Saw

Take measurements on house walls or fascia from a ladder

Pre-drill materials on the ground with an Impact Drill

Assemble metal framing and roof panels while standing on a ladder

Apply caulking and touch-up paint to seal and finish the system

Load materials onto truck racks at the company warehouse

Unload materials at customers' residences and job sites

Handle shipments of materials from manufacturers

Unload tools at job sites

Maintain a clean job site by picking up trash and refuse

Roll screen and spline into aluminum screen room components

Requirements:

Active and valid driver's license Dependable transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs Positive can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Ability to take instruction and follow directions Self-manage, arrive on time, stay on schedule, and meet production deadlines Good interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting professionally with staff, clients, and teammates Reliability and consistency are crucial Able to work 40-hour work weeks Proficiency in using and reading a tape measure Comfortable working on a ladder or roof system Proficient in using a Chop Saw and a Power/Impact Drill
