Event & Floor Chef

Job Description
The Event Chef works with the culinary team to produce and execute event menus to ensure food safety and quality. We look for team members who exhibit attention to detail, and a drive for excellence. Event Chefs report directly to the Catering Supervisor on site.
What will you be doing?
Work with a team of chefs to execute small and large events, primarily during the weekend. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving guests and producing special events.
Assist in food preparation at our commissary when needed.
What do we require from you?
Passion for creating excellent food and executing events
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety, minimum 2 years experience working in a from-scratch kitchen environment
Energetic self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure
Creative insight and the ability to exercise autonomy to fulfill complicated tasks
Team-player with a positive attitude towards change
Effective and professional communication in English required, Spanish language skills a plus
Ability to lift and move an average of 50 pounds
Floor Chef must be able to cut meat and flambe`.
