A Laborer, or General Laborer, is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site. Their duties include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, assembling pieces of equipment and digging or filling in pits throughout the construction process.

• Handling and moving construction materials

• Tool operation. Many general labor jobs require the use of tools, such as hammers, drills, handsaws and staple guns

• Unloading and loading

• Following instructions

• Forklift operation

• Snow removal

• Demolition

• Debris removal

• Communication

duties differ depending on the task at hand, but some responsibilities include painting, drilling, flooring installations, and plumbing and electrical tasks.

• physical fitness, strength and stamina to cope with lifting and bending.

• to be able to understand instructions and carry them out reliably and efficiently.

• OSHA10 (already have one or able to obtain one in the first week of work)

steel toe boots are required.
