Job Description

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects, and reporting findings to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.

Typical needs are for: 1st shift as early as 5AM and 2nd shift and start and end time vary but are 8-12hr shifts or until the job is done.

Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials and finished goods.

Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare inspection reports.

Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and deviations from standards.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in internal audits and support external audits.

Continuously seek improvements in quality processes.

Requirements:

May require standing for long periods. May involve working in manufacturing, lab, or warehouse environments. Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) may be required * all leather non-slip shoes or steel toe boots
