Job Description
• Installation and Setup:
o Install new electric motors and related equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
o Assist in the setup and alignment of motors with other machinery.
• Maintenance and Repair:
o Perform routine maintenance on electric motors, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
o Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in motors and related systems.
o Repair or replace faulty components, including windings, bearings, and brushes.
• Troubleshooting:
o Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify electrical faults in motor systems.
o Analyze and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Conduct tests on motors and equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
o Document all maintenance and repair activities, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
• Experience: o Minimum 2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial electric motors. o Experience with AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control systems. • Tools: o Must have own tools required for the job, including but not limited to hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear.
